This was my second time seeing these sludgy Chicagoans, and I was even more impressed than the first time. They played to a packed crowd at Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco on 11/19/11.

Finally got to see NYC heavies Naam after hearing about them for awhile at Bottom of the Hill.

Kylesa

This was my third time seeing Kylesa and it's always a pleasure. They were extremely focused, loud and heavy. This set utilized more extensive use of keyboards, and Philip Cope even played the theremin.
