River of Time: New Works by Josh Graham

Josh Graham of A Storm of Light/Neurosis fame is showing his recent works at E6 Gallery in San Francisco. I highly recommend checking it out.
I wrote about this show for a feature on CVLT Nation which will be available very soon. I am very pleased to announce that I've joined Cvlt Nation as a contributor. In addition to SF Sludge I will be making regular contributions to the site doing gig and album reviews.
They recently did a feature on my artwork which you can read here, and will be doing a feature on SF Sludge next week.

Archaic Revival Art Show

I went to the gallery opening for Archaic Revival last Thursday at Space Gallery on Polk St. On display were screen prints, drawings and paintings by David D'Andrea, Alan Forbes and Stacie Willoughby. The show only ran for a few days, so it's way too late to go see it, but I wanted to share some of the pieces anyway. My favorite part about this show was seeing D'Andrea's original pen and ink drawings that get used in his screen printed posters.

Upcoming Events:
Buzz Ov*en 12/15 at DNA Lounge
Om 12/16 at The Independent
Agalloch 12/22 at Great American Music Hall

Scream With Me Art Exhibition

It's yours for $1,000. It's worth it if you have the money.

Tonight I went to the 'Scream With Me' art show at the 111 Minna Gallery. I went mainly to see prints by Converge frontman Jacob Bannon, but I was also curious to see what other works were on display. The Bannon prints definitely had the most heft and were highlighted more than the other pieces, but there were some cool dead pigeon paintings and some interesting black metal pop art. It's a good chance for Converge fans to see original prints of their album art in person. Or a good chance to rub shoulders with some hip arty people, I dunno.
